Since 1981, John Miller Public Relations (JMPR), in the heart of Silicon Valley, has provided marketing, public policy, and public relations research, planning, consulting, and implementation services for a variety of clients in California and elsewhere. JMPR serves the needs of privately held and public companies, as well as non-profit organizations and government agencies. Since its inception, JMPR has successfully promoted and advised clients in fields as diverse as telecommunications, financial data services, computer graphics, applications software, medical instrumentation, scientific and industrial lasers, low-emissivity coatings, liquid crystal displays, high-tech athletic equipment, environmental advocacy, and public open space management.

Prior to founding JMPR, John Miller was a marketing and PR account executive for the internationally respected Regis McKenna public relations agency. Before that he was senior public affairs specialist at the Stanford Research Institute, director of communications for the National Business League, and had served as an editor with Cahners and Penton publishing companies at various locations throughout the United States. He is a co-founder of Washington, DC-based Scenic America and his writing on public policy and public relations has appeared in the New York Times and other leading newspapers and periodicals. He is the author of Egotopia: Narcissism & The New American Landscape (University of Alabama Press). He holds a master's degree in mass communications from Florida State University and an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
